One Tree Hill nabs Austin Nichols as the new hottie

Thursday, September 4th, 2008 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Austin Nichols, who recently was on John from Cincinnati, is headed to One Tree Hill, and he will have a past with Peyton. He actually winds up in town when he shows up as an indie film producer interested in making a film of Lucas’ novel.

My OTH mole describes Nichols’ gig as “heavy recurring,” which I’m pretty sure means we’re going to be seeing a lot of him.

So what’s the feelings? Excited? One Tree Hill can always add more hot guys to the cast list as far as I’m concerned!

Michaela McManus will be back on One Tree Hill as Lindsey

Tuesday, August 26th, 2008 on SpoilerBuzz.com

I know many people assumed that once Michaela McManus was cast on Law & Order: SVU that we had seen the last of her on One Tree Hill. But that isn’t so! And not only that, she will be back on One Tree Hill for more than one episode!

To those who track spoilers/on-set sightings and profess to know who Lucas wound up calling, Schwahn argues, “If Lucas were to pick Lindsey, who’s to say she’d pick him back? And if she does, who’s to say it works out? A lot of people have eliminated her as a candidate because they know a lot about show biz, but I’m like, ‘Hold on a second….’”

Does that mean OTH’s mighty love “rectangle” of Lucas, Brooke, Peyton and Linds is destined to continue on? “Not really, and not romantically,” says Schwahn. “As you get older and more complex, how you love someone and what they mean to your life, that changes. So I think that romantically, it’s probably done. But [those relationships] will always be a staple of the show. They’ll all be in each others lives in some major way.”

So what do you think? Happy she will be back or mad she’s coming back?

More real life hookups on the One Tree Hill set

Wednesday, December 26th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

onetreehillcast4.jpg

Seriously, what are they drinking over on the set of One Tree Hill? How can one show have so many castmate hookups? We first had Chad Michael Murray & Sophia Bush, who got married then divorced, all while on the show. Now Chad is engaged to Kenzie Dalton, who played an extra on the show. Hilarie Burton is married to an assitant director on One Tree Hill, Ian Prange. And now comes news of a new One Tree Hill real life couple… Sophia Bush & James Lafferty!

Sophia Bush has chosen another lover from her castmates on “One Tree Hill,” say sources. Despite her failed marriage to Chad Michael Murray, we hear she’s now hooked up with co-star James Lafferty, much to the dismay of their “OTH” colleagues. Her rep swears there’s no romance.

Just imagine the number of hookups we don’t hear about!

Thursday, December 13th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Gotta love Lucas. Looks like the new chickie for Chad Michael Murray’s character Lucas is going to have an issue with his old girlfriend making another reappearance. So, it could be either Brooke or Peyton, but more likely Peyton who is the old girlfriend… because don’t forget four years has passed.

Hmmm, am I the only one who finds this whole missing four years thing confusing, especially when it is coming to spoilers!!!

Sorry for all of you hoping Fed-Ex’s storyline in the upcoming season of One Tree Hill would fall victim to the whole writer’s strike brouhaha. And her appearance on the show will be a multi-arc episode gig! She is playing the character Mia, and yes, she will be singing!

Kevin Federline guests on One Tree Hill

Saturday, August 25th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Honestly, I just don’t know what to make of Fed-Ex. But he is once again popping up on the small screen to guest star on the campy teen soap One Tree Hill.

Not only will Fed-Ex reach into his bag of tricks to play Jason, described as the “cocky, enigmatic frontman for No Means Yes,” the show’s fictional leading rock band from Tree Hill, but he’ll do it several times over. Yes, Federline will appear not in one, not in two, but in a “multi-episode arc” for the show.

Federline also appeared in his easily forgettable role on CSI last season (click the link to view his clip).

One Tree Hill scoop for next season - four years in the future

Wednesday, July 11th, 2007 on SpoilerBuzz.com

OK, I still don’t know what to think about One Tree Hill doing the (almost) unthinkable and setting next season four YEARS after the last one left off, but they are. But lucky for us, Ausiello has a whole bunch of scoop for next season.

a cocky new Ravens player who will butt heads with Lucas, a New York book editor who has a hard time balancing work and play, plus a manipulative business executive with a cruel streak and a beautiful and nurturing nanny for Nathan and Haley’s son, James. Speaking of that baby we left in diapers last season, expect one smart little boy when we return.

So what do you think? Will this experiment of jumping years be a success or a miserable failure?

One Tree Hill to fast forward to after college?

Monday, December 18th, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Word on the street - and according to Michael Ausiello - is that if One Tree Hill comes back next season for the show’s fifth season, that there will be some major changes, including one that would see the show zoom ahead four years to when the characters would all be graduating from high school.

One Tree Hill has a problem getting new demographics of viewers because of the current age group of the characters, although the true ages of the cast members more closely resembles the post-college-age.

Get your hometown on One Tree Hill

Thursday, December 7th, 2006 on SpoilerBuzz.com

Ever thought your hometown would make the perfect setting for a television show? Well One Tree Hill has started up a new contest to do just that… film an episode of One Tree Hill in the town you live, as well as making a guest appearance on the show. Not only could you get yuor show featured, if you have ever wanted to get a start in show business, this could be a chance to get a jump on it, without having to go the somewhat trashy reality show route to do it.

The full scoop from the CW press release:

Through January 7, 2007, One Tree Hill fans can submit 30-second videos of themselves explaining why their city would make the perfect backdrop for an upcoming episode of the series. Videos can be submitted to The CW website (www.cwtv.com/sunkist).

“One Tree Hill has always had a special relationship with its fans, and has also been very forward-thinking in blurring the lines of reality and fiction,” said Mark Schwahn, creator and executive producer of One Tree Hill. “Taking the cast to the winner’s hometown and putting that town and winner into the world of Tree Hill is unprecedented, and we’re thankful that Sunkist is helping us make this ambitious event a reality.”

“With some of the most passionate fans in television, we try to do something special for them every year, giving them a chance to interact with the show through the music tour and the mall tours. This season, Mark Schwahn came up with his most innovative idea yet by taking One Tree Hill on the road and into one fan’s hometown,” said Joe Davola, executive producer of One Tree Hill.

The CW, Sunkist and One Tree Hill creator/executive producer Mark Schwahn and executive producer Joe Davola will review all of the submissions and select one winner. During the month of February 2007, the cast and crew of One Tree Hill will travel to the winner’s hometown to film the episode which will air during the current season of the series. The winner will also make a guest appearance in the episode.

Not only will this make for a great contest, I am sure some of the entries will wind up on a special features menu of this season’s DVD set.
